Reggie is from Philadelphia, Pa. but lived in South Jersey for over 20 years. He graduated from Darby Township High School (DT) in the late seventies where he played football, basketball and track on some of the great DT State Championship teams. He made the All Star team in each sports as well as receiving All-Conference honors and additional accolades. He went on to play football & track at Widener University and basketball at Delaware County Community College before transferring to West Chester University. A Business Management major, he was an All Conference tight-end on WCU football team. He won many honors after his senior year and was invited to several NFL camps (Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins & NY Giants) before ending his professional career with a shoulder injury. Reggie is the father of Kyle & Tyler Hines, both of whom he developed them into becoming good students, good athletes and good men. He also has a daughter,Tatiana, who is a National Honor Society student and plays volleyball, basketball & tennis. He presently works in Atlantic City as a Table Game Supervisor and has his own Home Improvement business that specialize in basement, kitchen & bathroom renovations. Reggie’s goal is to make Team Hines Basketball Academy an elite program in South Jersey to help the youths in this area to reach their dreams.
