Rich Bolds

Rich was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. but has lived in Sicklerville, NJ for over 15 years. He graduated from Ben Franklin High School where he was a stand out player on some of their great basketball teams. He played college basketball as a walk-on player at Temple University under the Hall of Fame Coach John Chaney. After his college experience, he became an assistant coach at Timber Creek High School (TC) during 2001-2007, coaching and training Jourdain Blackmon, Kyle & Tyler Hines and many other former players. After leaving TC, he went on to St. Joseph University to be an assist. coach under Coach Phil Martelli , coaching the JV team to a winning record of 24-8 for 2 years. Rich has sucessfully trained many high school, college & pro players from the Philly and South Jersey area. Currently, he is a full time teacher and the boys varsity basketball Head Coach at Timber Creek since 2011. In only his 2nd year of coaching, he lead his varsity team to the Group 3 Finals in 2013. His love and passion for teaching the game of basketball can not be matched by no other. Rich is a co-founder of Team Hines Basketball Academy and his altermate goal is to teach and reach the youths in this area to become the best that he or she can be. He still lives in this area with his 2 beautiful daughters and son Jaden.
