TEAM HINES AAU

Team Hines AAU is our flagship program and was founded in 2011. Team Hines AAU serves as a developmental program young student-athletes in our community, providing the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game from experienced coaches and administrators, travel and compete against some of the top competition in the tri-state area, and to play basketball at the collegiate learn and earn athletic scholarships. For the last decade, we have traveled to several tournaments in Massachusetts, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, and New York. Currently, Team Hines has 10-15 former players playing at the collegiate level, and we looking to guiding more student-athletes down that elite path.

THE SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO COVID-19

TEAM RULES

All Medical Waiver, AAU registration, Report Card, Parent Code of Conduct Forms and Full Payments MUST be completed before a player can participate in any THBA activity. THBA advised that the parent or legal guardian the player(s) evaluated by a physician prior to participating in Team Hines activities.

 

Players must arrive at practice and fully dressed in Team Hines practice uniform at least 15 minutes before scheduled time or the player cannot participate in THBA activities. THBA practice uniform are to be washed in cold water with NO Bleach and hang dry or in a dryer with temperature set on Low heat.

 

All damaged uniforms are to be turned into a THBA Administrator. Lost uniforms are the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian (Cost: Jersey-$20.00/Shorts-$10.00). Players are NOT allowed to take home any THBA game uniforms and should turn them into a THBA Personnel after every game.

 

Parents or legal guardian are responsible for lost or damage of game uniforms (Cost: Jersey-$60/Shorts-$40). No THBA practice or game uniforms and sneakers are to be worn outside of THBA activities. Also, no doo-rags and no uniforms or everyday clothes will be worn sagging.

 

Any player, not following the team rules, can and will be suspended at any time for the betterment of the team. Suspensions can last anywhere from 1 hour to a lifetime. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the player’s meal and traveling expenses and in some cases hotel fees.
